On a lush hillside in Laguna Beach, Casa Laguna's historic buildings lean toward the Mediterranean. Martyn Lawrence-Bullard designed the interiors in a traditional Spanish-colonial spirit — the 23 rooms and suites layered with colorful vintage furnishings, Moorish tiles and ceramics, vibrant custom prints, and Moroccan influences.
The outdoor pool is the quiet center: palms overhead, potted plants at its edge, plush loungers in the shade. An intimate spa, indoor and out, offers restorative massages and treatments.
Mornings bring a European continental breakfast in the dining room. Through the day, a small selection of Spanish and Italian-inspired light plates.
