The place

Hidden inside the second-oldest house in Roma Norte, Casa Tenue keeps a low profile. Studios Vertebral and H116 reimagined the building as an urban hideaway — intimate, warm, unhurried.

Eight rooms in warm terracotta tones. Rustic wooden furnishings, contemporary artwork, bathrooms of natural stone. The two penthouse suites go further: a lush private terrace planted with native species, a handcrafted copper bathtub catching the light.

Mornings, a light breakfast arrives — fresh pastries, seasonal fruit, coffee. There is no restaurant on site; the neighborhood, generous with good tables, takes it from there.
