Citizen House

The place

Citizen House stands at the crossroads of Downtown and Midtown in Oklahoma City — part private members' club, part hotel. Studio Michaelis Boyd shaped the interior, rich and playfully contemporary.

There are just 16 rooms. Muted tones, textured materials, graphic carpets underfoot, a sage green bathroom, and large windows letting the city in.

The house holds a fully equipped fitness center, a library, a games room, and co-working spaces, and guests have access to the members' club itself. Chef Miguel Acosta runs the elegant in-house restaurant with an all-day menu; the living room pours cocktails and drinks.
