The place

A discreet villa steps from a white sand beach in San Juan. Behind the plain white facade, the rooms turn rustic and eclectic — vintage furniture, oriental touches, nothing matching and nothing meant to.

The 19 rooms and suites are outfitted piece by piece: bespoke furnishing, dark wooden accents, singular objects. Most open onto a private terrace with a hammock and a soaking tub.

Days start with a plant-based breakfast or brunch, served daily. Beach chairs and yoga mats are there for the taking, a communal workspace when needed. The hotel can arrange waterfall tours, snorkel excursions, and surf lessons.
