The place

Three buildings from 1910 in the Lärkstan neighborhood, arranged by designer Ilse Crawford to feel like a home. Homey, moody, exact. The 25 rooms are composed piece by piece — vintage furniture beside contemporary, artwork and objects chosen rather than placed.

Small as the house is, it holds a fitness room, a yoga space, a hammam, a sauna, and a treatment room. There is a courtyard garden, and a cozy living room for doing nothing in particular.

The kitchen cooks breakfast, lunch, and dinner: classic Swedish dishes, built on the best of what is local and in season.
