The place

Argentine by origin, Art Deco by conviction. Faena sits directly on the sand in Mid Beach, and its lobby opens in gold and red — an aesthetic that honors Miami Beach's vibrant history rather than whispering past it.

The 179 oversized rooms and suites keep the pitch: splashes of bright red, bespoke dark wooden furnishing, velvet and leather, glamorous lighting, pops of teal blue. Bathrooms are finished with Carrara marble vanities and Ann Sacks tile work.

The private beach runs to 100,000 square feet of white sand. Beside it, an outdoor pool ringed with red loungers, somewhere between Deco and Wonderland. Nine restaurants and bars follow; Los Fuegos, with its South American live-fire cooking, is the one to remember.
