The place

Forty tropical acres beside Wailea Beach. Grand Wailea, a Waldorf Astoria Resort, is Maui at its most unhurried — and one of the island's most romantic getaways. Rooms start at 640 square feet, among the largest on the island, in calm neutrals: a scenic private lanai, a marble bathroom, an oversized tub for the end of the day.
