Hotel Hubertus

The place

High above Olang, in the Dolomites, Hotel Hubertus grew outward from its original guesthouse into a series of contemporary extensions — architecture folded into the mountainside.

The 74 rooms and suites are quiet studies in natural oak, each with a private balcony facing the peaks. Some add a sauna or an outdoor jacuzzi.

Then there is the infinity sky pool, set so the water seems to float above the mountains. Five outdoor pools, three whirlpools, a relaxation pavilion, and a spa wait below. In the kitchen, chef Antonio Triscari draws from the nature of South Tyrol — forest, meadow, mountain.
