The place
At the heights of Belvédère in Méribel, a ten-story wooden chalet made over as a ski retreat. Pierre Yovanovitch designed Hotel Le Coucou with a wink — traditional Alpine forms, taken somewhere playful. The 55 rooms and suites wear terracotta tones, contemporary furniture, polka-dot carpets, and local timber. Each has its own balcony.
After the slopes, the wellness space: a serene indoor pool, an outdoor plunge pool, a sauna, a hammam, a fitness room. Three restaurants and a bar carry the evenings — Biancaneve for fine dining built on maritime brasserie favorites, Beefbar for cuts like Black Angus and Kobe.
