The place

In the heart of the Marais, a 19th-century building that was once an iconic nightclub. Hotel Les Bains keeps that memory close. Vincent Bastie, Tristan Auer, and Denis Montel gave each space its own character — the entrance is dark, moody, almost baroque.

The 39 rooms and suites turn toward the light. Chic and retro, with bespoke furniture, Gainsbourg-style carpets, touches of precious wood, velvet, and white marble. Les Bains Suite goes furthest: a private terrace, a hammam, a kitchen, room to live and dine.

The spa holds a vitality pool, a hammam, a relaxation lounge, and two treatment rooms; yoga comes on Sunday mornings. And then Roxo, the house restaurant and bar in lacquered Bordeaux, where chef Bruno Grossi cooks a creative menu drawn from many places.
