Hotel Toranomon Hills
The place
A glass sky-rise in Minato City, entered through black metal. Space Copenhagen — the studio behind 11 Howard and The Stratford — shaped the interior in neutral tones and natural materials, with quiet Japanese inflections throughout.
The 205 rooms and suites hold the same hush: sculptural contemporary furniture, light wooden floors, large windows. Marble bathrooms, Sealy bedding, a B&O speaker, NEMOHAMO toiletries. From some suites, Tokyo Tower stands uninterrupted in the glass.
Le Pristine, from Michelin-starred chef Sergio Herman, serves seasonal Italian cooking with a Zeeland touch; a namesake cafe carries a more casual all-day menu and drinks. A fully equipped gym sits on-site.
