The place

Between the Pacific and the jungle in Guerrero, Hotelito MUSA occupies a modernist complex shaped by its surroundings. Polished concrete, granite, wood. The aesthetic is clean, quiet, deliberate.

Thirteen rooms and suites are kept in dark wood and neutral tones, hung with local artwork and furnished in a mix of modern and traditional Mexican pieces. Vivenda linens, bespoke Musa toiletries, a Smeg fridge. Many open onto a private terrace with a plunge pool.

At the centre, a freshwater infinity pool holds the whole sweep of the coastline. There is a gym, pickleball courts, surfboards to rent, space to work. At Alba, the open-air restaurant, the farm-to-table menu is built from regional ingredients.
