The place

Just south of Montmartre, in the 9th, a small and affordable hotel that is really a wellness retreat, secluded from the bustling streets. The owner designed the interior — muted shades, minimal wooden furnishing, floral touches here and there.

The 21 rooms and suites come in ivory and light blue: wooden floors, cozy furnishing, ceramic bathroom tiles. Meditation pillows wait in the corner; the snacks are homemade, the toiletries organic.

In the dark yoga studio, Japanese yoga and meditation classes. There is a Japanese florist, a treatment room, workshops. And on the ground floor, Mesa — a plant-based menu inspired by Latin American cuisine, with teas from local farmers and around the world.
