The place

INNESS occupies 220 pastoral acres southwest of Kingston, held between the Catskill and Shawangunk mountain ranges. Post Company designed it as a modern countryside retreat with a heavy Scandinavian accent — neutral shades, clean furnishing, light wooden touches.

The 40 accommodations divide between 28 black wooden cabins and 12 rooms at the main Farmhouse. Minimal, cozy, sophisticated: bespoke wooden furnishing, curated antiques, objects, and art. The cabins add a fully equipped kitchenette and a private deck with panoramic views — made for staying a while.

The land does the rest. A lush 9-hole golf course for pros and amateurs, tennis courts, two idyllic outdoor pools, a fitness studio, and a spa with saunas and plunge pools. The kitchen keeps a seasonal Mediterranean-inspired menu, built on fresh local ingredients.
