The place
Jumeirah Bali is a villa-only resort on the Uluwatu coast, set at the beachfront near Dreamland Beach. Its 123 villas draw on Hindu-Javanese architecture — ivory tones, marble, stone. Most come in one or two bedrooms, each with a private pool, a garden terrace, a deep soaking tub, and butler service.
A tiered infinity pool steps down with sweeping views. Elsewhere on the grounds: a fully equipped gym, a kids' club, and a spa with Bali's only Hammam. The beach and New Kuta Golf are just steps away.
Two restaurants anchor the dining. Segaran keeps things casual with a Southeast Asian menu; Akasa turns to the flame, grilling refined dishes with an Asian accent.
