The place
A 1920s French-style townhouse in the Roma district, La Valise Mexico City feels less like a hotel than a stylish artist's residence — bespoke furniture, curated artwork, artisanal objects at rest.
There are eight suites, no more. Some hold to white, black and wood; the newer ones lean into colour. Each is composed with local artwork, velvet furnishing and custom bath tiles, alongside premium linens, a standalone bathtub, L'Occitane toiletries and Apple TV. Some open onto a spacious private terrace, thick with green.
There is no dining room here. Breakfast arrives fresh at the room each morning, and the staff know exactly where to send you for everything else.
