The place

A Craftsman-style house a stone's throw from the beach in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Like its Palisociety siblings, it leans vintage — curated antiques, an easy, lived-in charm.

The 34 rooms and suites wear sage green walls with dark wooden furniture, floral and plaid patterns, and vintage-inspired touches. The amenities are quietly generous: a SMEG fridge, a Marshall speaker, Diptyque toiletries, Italian Bellino linens.

Mornings mean a continental champagne breakfast — pastries and sourdough from local bakery Rise + Roam, marmalades from Marmalade Grove. Later, social hours with curated wines, beers, and snacks.
