The place

A 1930s house with a pink facade, a stone's throw from downtown Palm Springs. Inside, things stay playful and breezy — white walls, warm wood, bright pops of color.

The 27 rooms and suites are compact but cozy, pared back to the same white-and-wood theme. Casper bedding, Further toiletries, free wifi, a daily continental breakfast. The suites add a separate living area and a kitchenette.

The pool is the crown jewel. Its deck echoes the facade in pink, edged with loungers, umbrellas, and greenery. For a drink, the lobby lounge pours beer, wine, and cocktails.
