The place

Libertine Lindenberg hides in Old Sachsenhausen, Frankfurt's historic quarter, inside a 19th-century building reworked by Franken Architekten. The mood is playful. Seventeen rooms and suites move between pastel and power hues, with custom furniture, curated artwork, and the original wooden floors still underfoot.

The house runs like a home. Libertine Toko & Bar serves a plant-based menu and drinks; the living-room cafe handles breakfast each morning. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a small grocery if you would rather cook yourself, and a compact fitness room when you want to move.
