The place
A minimalist concrete complex in the Somerset district, half-hidden in lush greenery. The rawness stops at the door: inside, Lloyd’s Inn is clean black and white, pared to the essentials.
The 34 rooms come in a wide range of configurations, all crisp white with spare modern furnishing. Some open onto an outdoor patio with a deep soaking tub.
There is an idyllic outdoor pool with sunbeds, and garden corners to linger in. Breakfast, served in the traditional Singaporean style, is complimentary.
