The place
An ivory building from 1908 in New Orleans's Warehouse District, just east of the French Quarter. Studio Shamshir reimagined Maison Métier's public spaces in the spirit of a glamorous social club, all eclectic charm.
The 67 guest rooms and suites keep to an elegant white palette under lofty ceilings — vintage-inspired furnishings, curated objects, touches of deep navy. Each comes with deluxe bedding and a grand bathroom of marble vanities and mosaic tile.
On the first floor, a guest-only lounge invites a glass of wine or a slow cocktail. Beside it, an elegant breakfast room serves entrées and beverages in the morning; for dinner, the neighborhood's restaurants are close at hand.
