The place

Near Montmartre, in the 9th arrondissement, an old building that was once a pleasure house in 1905. Jacques Garcia leaned into that past — deep jewel tones, opulent classicist furniture, velvet that swallows sound.

Twenty rooms and suites, each named for a Belle Époque courtesan, in four styles: Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Napoleon III. Exotic wallpapers, padded silk headboards, golden mouldings, large mirrors, vintage pieces, curated artwork.

Below, an intimate spa holds a heated ten-metre pool, a mosaic hammam, and a treatment room. The salons stay open through the day, from a refined breakfast to a cocktail late at night.
