The place

On a rugged hill in Valle de Guadalupe, MIRA Earth Studios keeps a low profile. The low-slung concrete structures all but disappear into the land.

Each of the ten studios is a minimalist composition: artisanal furniture, natural fabrics, a kitchenette, a sauna. Outside, a private terrace with a jacuzzi and a fire pit for the evenings.

The infinity pool looks straight over the valley, edged by lounge beds, a shaded terrace and a poolside bar. Winery tours and horseback riding fill the days. Beside the pool sits Fireside, the open-air restaurant, where chefs José Luis Hinostroza and Tomás Gastélum cook bold, Baja-inspired dishes.
