Municipal Grand

The place

Municipal Grand began as a 1960s bank in Savannah’s historic downtown, since remade by AAmp Studio into a delightful urban escape. The interior celebrates mid-century design — playful curves, color used with confidence.

Each of the 44 guest rooms and suites carries custom furniture and millwork, handcrafted Zia tiles, and contemporary artwork. The patio king suites open onto their own walkout patios, with ample room to sit and linger.

On the roof, a pool lined with red-striped loungers and greenery. The Sun Club is up there too, for a refresher or a light snack. Municipal Bar handles the rest — brunch, dinner, and cocktails, all day.
