The place

Nihi Sumba sits on Nihiwatu Beach, on the island of Sumba, the landscapes around it still unspoilt. The 27 accommodations run along the coastline, from treehouses to four-bedroom villas — traditional thatched roofs, wooden furnishings, a private pool for each.

Days pass between the private beach, the waterfront pool, the Nihioka Spa, the padel courts, and the gym. The water and the island lend themselves to watersports and horse riding.

All meals and snacks are included. Four culinary concepts work with the freshest local produce, some of it cooked by the island's ancient methods.
