OKU Kos

The place

On the northern coast of Kos, a scatter of whitewashed cubic buildings, closer in feeling to a small village than a hotel. The hundred rooms and suites lean traditional Greek with a bohemian ease — earthy palettes, minimalist furniture, plain natural materials. Many keep their own pool and terrace.

At the center, the main outdoor pool, ringed by day beds and thatched umbrellas. There is a fitness space, and a spa with an indoor pool, sauna, Turkish hammam, and treatments.

To Kima carries the day's meals, breakfast through dinner — open-air Greek and Mediterranean cooking with an Asian turn. A bar sits beside the main pool.
