The place

Gundari holds the southern clifftop of Folegandros, 80 acres of rocky landscape around it. The 27 minimalist suites and villas were built from the site’s original rocks — rustic contemporary furniture, marble floors, timber accents. Each keeps a private terrace with an outdoor pool.

At its heart, the infinity pool, the Aegean panoramic below. The in-house spa carries a mineral pool and therapeutic treatments; a modern fitness center sits alongside. Orizon, the al-fresco restaurant and bar, cooks contemporary farm-to-table. The swim-up bar handles the cocktails.
