The place

A small farm stay on the island of Gotland, well off the usual paths. Thirteen farmstead rooms and nine hotel rooms, all in creamy hues and rustic furnishings. The farmstead rooms open onto private patios; the hotel rooms come with a private library and kitchen.

Days pass between the natural outdoor pool, the garden, and the farm itself. The island's white beaches are near, and the wind is there for kitesurfing.

The restaurant and bar work farm to fork — home-grown ingredients, local cheeses, and fresh produce carried in from neighboring farms and artisans.
