The Bradley Hare
The place
A 19th-century coaching inn on the Duke of Somerset's estate, at the border of Wiltshire and Somerset. Twelve rooms, split between the Main House and the Coach House, each reimagined one by one by interior designer James Thurstan Waterworth.
Some rooms sit in neutrals, others in jewel tones; all hold antique furniture, original artwork and Farrow & Ball shades.
The kitchen cooks refined classics that wander — Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Asian — and the bar keeps beers, ales, cocktails and wine for the slow end of the evening.
