The Dylan

The place

You enter The Dylan through a 17th-century archway, and the city stays on the other side. The historic building keeps its old-world charm and its well-preserved monotone facade.

The 40 rooms and suites come in four moods: Loxura, colored like the butterfly; Serendipity, warm browns and greys; Amber, drawn from the stone; Loft, white and beige beneath original wooden beams. Each has a B&O sound system, an Illy espresso maker, Aesop by the basin.

The table is a reason of its own. Vinkeles holds two Michelin stars for its refined French cooking; Bar Brasserie OCCO takes the rest of the day, easier but no less considered.
