A red-brick corner building in TriBeCa. David Rockwell and Sarah Collum + Hatfield Design shaped the 5-star hotel around an eclectic old-world calm — salvaged furniture, Tibetan rugs, Moroccan tiles in the lobby.
Each of the 88 rooms and suites is one of a kind. Nostalgic neutrals, wood, vintage furnishings, curated antiques. The Tribeca Penthouse, designed by the renowned Axel Vervoordt, adds a rustic contemporary register and a large private terrace garden.
The indoor pool is the quiet center — oriental-inspired, kept in dim light. A Japanese-style spa and a fitness center with machines and free weights sit alongside. Locanda Verde serves Italian home cooking in a relaxed tavern; The Drawing Room & Courtyard holds the evening drink.
