The place
Two buildings near Wicker Park, Chicago: a grand limestone Art Deco tower from 1929 and a fireproof warehouse from 1905. The lobby leaves the bones showing — exposed columns and ceilings, rustic and industrial.
The 89 rooms and suites split between the two. Tower rooms run modern industrial, sophisticated bespoke furnishing with splashes of deep green. Warehouse rooms go quieter — white and wood, minimalistic furnishing, factory-style windows, Delordinaire fixtures.
On the roof, a small heated pool with loungers. Clever Coyote pours to a 90s-inspired, nostalgic menu, while The Up Room takes its drinks with panoramic views.
