The place

The State Hotel occupies a 1904 building in the heart of Seattle. The red brick facade sets the tone inside — brass, wood, an industrial undercurrent.

The 91 rooms and suites are furnished with custom pieces, leather headboards, locally made beds, and local artwork. The top-floor rooms carry private terraces; the skyline sits right there.

In summer, Little Ben's opens on the roof for handcrafted cocktails and light bites. Ben Paris, the neighborhood restaurant, serves homey American fare with a curated wine list. A gym stays open around the clock.
