The Union Station Nashville Yards
The place
Just west of downtown Nashville, The Union Station Nashville Yards was a railroad terminal first, opened in 1900. Stand in the lobby and look up: a 65-foot barrel-vaulted stained glass ceiling, hung with chandeliers, above marble floors and classy furnishings.
The 125 rooms and suites are newer in spirit — recently refurbished in white and wood, with Art Deco-inspired furnishing. Each has a marble bathroom, a work desk, and a TV with Netflix and HBO.
A gym runs 24 hours. Stationary cooks American food from local produce, while ERGO pours hand-crafted cocktails beside small plates.
