A design hotel in Montreal’s Golden Square Mile. The recent refurbishment, led by Sid Lee, works in Turkish travertine and white oak — neutral hues, curved furniture, dark wooden touches inside an iconic building.
The 142 rooms and suites stay soft. White and wood, dusty pink and golden accents. Each holds a marble bathroom with a jetted bathtub and a proper workspace. Pet-friendly and accessible rooms are available on inquiry.
A modern fitness center carries machines and free weights. Two restaurants sit within the hotel — YAMA Restaurant & Bar, chef Antonio Park’s mountain-inspired Pan-Asian menu, and Cafe Bazin, classic French in a more casual key.
