The place

Two nineteenth-century palazzos, one pink, one beige, on Via Liguri near the Spanish Steps. Inside, New York studio Meyer Davis lets the rooms loosen up — curved furniture, bold patterns, marble underfoot.

The 162 rooms and suites carry baby blue walls, velvet curtains, and Art Deco gestures, with contemporary furniture and artwork. Marble bathrooms, Davines products, a Dyson hairdryer. The WOW suites open onto large private terraces with the skyline in full.

Outside, the pool is ringed with day beds and greenery. There is a fitness center, and three places to eat and drink — Giano for Sicilian and Roman cooking, Seu Pizza con Vista on the roof for pizza and cocktails.
