The place
Just north of San Miguel de Allende's centre, an ivory-and-red contemporary building opened in 2023. Productora and Esrawe Studio wrapped the public spaces in local red stone and glossy green ceramic tile, then furnished them simply, in wood.
The 93 rooms and suites — all pet-friendly — stay quiet by design: a neutral palette, low-slung furniture, clay floor tiles, regional textiles. The essentials are all there, from coffee facilities to free wifi.
Outside, a large pool lined with red lounge beds, and a compact fitness centre. On the first floor, Albor Restaurant serves international dishes with a regional flair in the open air; the lobby bar keeps a curated shelf of tequilas, mezcals and cocktails.
