The place
On the Gran Vía, an ivory building from 1922 holds Brach Madrid. Philippe Starck shaped the interior, as he did for Brach Paris — the 57 rooms read like a collector's home, all warm wooden panels, vintage-inspired furniture, and objects that carry a certain nostalgia.
The spa is the surprise for a hotel this size. White and gold, with a 20-meter indoor pool, an infrared sauna, a steam room, a floating bath, and treatment rooms. A modern fitness center sits alongside.
At the restaurant, chef Adam Bentalha cooks Mediterranean with a quiet Middle Eastern accent.
