The place

In the heart of Madrid, an 18th-century bank building repurposed as something greener. The public spaces of The Madrid EDITION stay moody — earthy tones, dim light, sudden pops of color.

The 200 rooms turn white and quiet. Contemporary furniture, a dramatic rococo-inspired headboard, a marble bathroom; Italian linens, Le Labo, a B&O speaker. Some rooms keep a private terrace and pool of their own.

The rooftop pool is the crown — lounge beds, cabanas, greenery in bloom. Below it, a fitness center and a spa with a range of treatments. Five places to eat and drink, running from Peruvian-inspired dishes to Spanish market cuisine.
