The place

A white historic colonial house in the centre of Mérida, restored with local materials like chukum until the rustic and the elegant sit side by side. Ceramic checkerboard tiles, vintage wooden shutters — the details carry the antique architecture forward.

The rooms and suites refine the same language: white, black and wood, classy antique furnishings, grand lighting, sumptuous bedding, L'Occitane in the bath.

In the courtyard, a narrow outdoor pool runs between plush lounge beds and touches of greenery. A small, intimate bar pours drinks; there is no restaurant on site, but the streets around the house hold ample tables.
