The place
A colonial house in the heart of downtown Merida, its ivory facade carried inward as a soft neutral palette. DECU DOWNTOWN is careful with its details — ceramic mosaic tiles, a checkered terrace, nothing left to chance.
Eight rooms and suites, chic and cozy. Modern wooden furnishings under lofty ceilings, stucco walls, ceramic tiles underfoot. Plush bedding and a rain shower complete the room.
The outdoor pool is the heart of it, flanked by lounge beds. There is also a rooftop, a terrace and garden, and a lounge stocked with books and board games. The restaurant serves Yucatan dishes, continental breakfasts, and drinks of its own invention.
