The place

A white historic house near Parque Santa Lucia, built in 1914 by architect Manuel Amabilis. Inside, Casa Puuc lets old and new sit together — curated contemporary pieces beside antiques, nothing forced.

Seven rooms, each its own. Wooden furnishings, mosaic tiles, vintage stucco walls that hold the afternoon light. King beds, air conditioning, coffee, wifi — the essentials, quietly handled.

Mornings bring an organic breakfast of fruit, eggs, and bread. There is a breezy outdoor pool, a terrace thick with greenery, and, on request, massages and facial treatments.
