The place
An ivory-and-black building in Taipei's upscale Daan district, opened in 2024. The lobby takes its cue from retro music: dark, funky, lit low, with jewel-tone accents.
One hundred thirty-six rooms and suites in white and brown, touched with deep green, chic furniture, curated objects and art. The amenities are considered, down to the Sealy bedding and Malin + Goetz toiletries.
A fitness center stays open around the clock. Three places to eat and drink: The SOCIAL, an intimate lobby bar with its own drinks and bites, and a Texas Roadhouse for the classic steakhouse night.
