The place

Three manor palaces, built between the 16th and 18th centuries, stand together in the heart of Ciutadella. Behind the ivory stone facade, the design is pared back; the shuttered windows, arched doorways, exposed beams, and tiled floors were left where they were.

The 56 rooms and suites move through white, wood, terracotta, forest green, and beige. The bathrooms are worked in marble, with Hermes bath products.

Daybeds line the outdoor pool. Below, the spa keeps a subterranean stone pool, a steam room, a sauna. A sun terrace, a garden, and an al fresco restaurant with a local Mediterranean menu complete it.
