The place

A discreet 18th-century townhouse in Mahón, reworked by Spanish architect Emma Martí. The renovation kept what mattered — mosaic tiles underfoot, stucco walls, original guillotine windows letting in the Menorcan light.

Eight rooms only, each with its own character. Contemporary pieces sit beside vintage finds; spruce wood panels and Art Nouveau tiles do the quiet detailing.

Breakfast is served in the basement, now a cozy public room. There is no restaurant, but a fully equipped communal kitchen invites you to cook, and the streets around the hotel hold plenty of places to eat.
