Hotel Dame des Arts

The place

A 1950s building near the banks of the Seine, in the 6th, opened as a hotel in February 2023. Behind the stone facade, designer Raphaël Navot shaped the lobby in soft curves — mid-century furniture against textured walls.

The 109 rooms and suites keep an earthy palette: bespoke modern furniture, original windows, padded headboards, artwork, the essentials seen to. The private terrace rooms look out to the Eiffel Tower.

There is a small private cinema, a sauna, a modern fitness gym. The restaurant runs from indoors into the courtyard garden with a Mexican-French fusion menu; on the roof, the bar pours cocktails and champagnes to a 360-degree view of the city.
