The place
The historic Hotel Cayré, born in the 1920s, revived in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Design studio Michaelis Boyd gives it an elegant vintage charm with quiet modern sensibilities.
The 123 rooms and suites take their cue from Parisian apartments — handmade beds, patterned textiles, custom pieces set against vintage finds. The Suite du Collectionneur stands apart, its art and furniture curated by Gilbert Kann.
A compact gym covers machines and free weights. Annette, the all-day brasserie, keeps to the classics; Officine Bac, hidden and moody, pours aromatic drinks.
