The place

A 1940s armory in the heart of downtown Bozeman, turned over to gentler purposes. The 122 rooms take their cues from Montana's landscapes — warm neutral tones, modern furniture, leather and wood finishes, everything well appointed. A fitness center runs around the clock.

The rooftop is where the building earns its keep: a pool with sweeping views of the surrounding mountain ranges, and Sky Shed beside it, a bar and lounge for a slow cocktail at altitude.

Downstairs, Fielding's is a tavern given to farm-to-table fare, and Tune Up pairs live music with a wide pour of drinks.
