One&Only Moonlight Basin
The place
One&Only Moonlight Basin sits on 240 acres of pine groves in Big Sky, Montana — a retreat built for slowing down. The sleek lodges, designed by architect Tom Kundig, seem to grow out of the landscape. From cozy rooms and cabins to five-bedroom homes, each carries earthy palettes, refined furnishings, and deep soaking tubs cut from stone.
Wellness runs deep here. An outdoor pool, an indoor spa pool, a private lakeside beach, hot tubs, a fitness center. In winter, direct access to Madison Base puts skiers on the slopes without ceremony.
Four restaurants and bars cover the range, from American Alpine cooking to Japanese grills.
