The place

At the still waterfront of Desolation Sound, British Columbia, the world narrows to water and forest. Four lodge rooms and three cabins, each finished in cedar and hung with Indigenous artwork, each with a private balcony facing the view. ONEKA bath products; little else to ask for.

The days fill themselves. Whale watching runs through every season — orcas, humpbacks, dolphins, seals. Or sea kayaking, paddleboarding, hiking through rainforest.

Breakfast and dinner are included, built on fresh, sustainable ingredients of the Salish Sea.
